Colleen and Chris made their 2006 baseball debut as the Winston-Salem Warthogs battled the Potomac Nationals at Historic Ernie Shore Field. Colleen and Chris scored free tickets to the game, didn't have to wait in line and had great seats. That was pretty cool. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the ninth, when the Warthogs crossed the plate for a 1-0 win. Chris didn't impress Colleen when he failed to participate in the YMCA routine, but he redeemed himself by singing Take Me Out To The Ballgame and buying Colleen a frozen lemonade. This probably saved Chris from being penalized. Colleen and Chris took part in hot dogs and nachos, and Chris consumed an alcoholic beverage. Discussion topics included work, Chris' earlier fishing trip with his dad, a previous-night party that Colleen attended but Chris couldn't, Colleen's upcoming play and packing efforts, and the NASCAR race, which Chris couldn't find results of on his cell phone. Colleen and Chris had to listen to the race on the way home. Post-game activities included dogs running the bases and Chris thinking one of the Warthogs employees was a cutie pie. A good time was had by all. Or, as Colleen would say, a good time was had by both. -- POSTED BY CHRIS.
